About the BAC

The BAC (Business Assistance Center) is a one-stop information and referral center for businesses in Oakland.  The physical center right next to City Hall at 270 Frank H Ogawa offers full time staff to help business owners navigate the City government and provide referrals to local organizations, county, and state agencies, and other resources to start, operate, and grow businesses in Oakland.

Grand Opening / Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The BAC Grand Opening on October 14, 2009 included Mayor Ronald V. Dellums, City Council President Jane Brunner, City Administrator Dan Lindheim, Community & Economic Development Agency Director Walter Cohen, OneCalifornia Foundation Executive Director Salvador Menjivar, Oakland Chamber Director of Economic Development Karen Engel, other special dignitaries.
